Statcomm Inc. is currently accepting applications for an apprentice technician/warehouse assistant.  This position will rotate throughout our company, providing basic training in a variety of technical vocations.  The ideal candidate for this position will be able to take direction from management, work well with co-workers and function independently. This is a training position that can lead to a field technician position.  The position will include a variety of tasks and the person who fills this position will need to be flexible and able to tolerate changes in his or her job description.  Some of these tasks would include picking up and dropping off materials, loading vehicles, light janitorial, and assisting with fieldwork.  You should be comfortable working with tools and be interested in learning about Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Sprinklers, Access Control Systems, Automated Gates and Commercial Doors.  Strong organizational skills and the ability to work quickly will be necessary for this position.  Computer skills are required.  In addition, this position will require lifting up to 70lbs and you should be comfortable working on ladders.
